The Girl in the Mirror

I look at her

The truth I despise,

Staring back at me

With dry ocean eyes.

And all that I crave

Is to push my hands through.

To reach through the mirror.

To strangle you.

Because I know she's hiding

Behind her smile slanted.

The truth she's confiding,

Her smile is transplanted.

I see the reflection.

I want to cut her to pieces.

Until her sad ocean eyes

Begin their decease.

I want to rip off her skin

'Till there's no longer a person.

For life cannot get better

If its goal is to worsen.
